But, luckily, there are also individuals who are devoted to defending the lives of other animals. One organization protects the welfare of the wolf population. The California Wolf Center says that these wild canines have nearly become extinct. But, while humans may be responsible for their extinction, we can also be a part in recovering their numbers.
