Founded in 1969, ACE has advocated for family-based care in Zambia since 1997. We believe God calls for something better than survival for orphaned and vulnerable children. We believe God’s heart desires for every child to flourish in their own family. Zambia is a country of over one million orphaned children. While institutions can provide life-saving rescue to orphaned children, they simply cannot replace the love of a secure, permanent family. ACE responds to orphaned and vulnerable children through family-based care. This approach prioritizes child safety and permanency in a stable, loving family environment.
