Palos Verdes families know they have an ace in the hole, when it comes to their neighborhood schools. They’ve got a group of volunteers who tirelessly raise money to maintain, provide and enhance vital education programs in the PVPUSD, making up for shortfalls year after year. The money this non-profit raises saves teachers’ jobs and makes sure kids have music programs, P.E. and helps them reach the highest levels of academic competition. That’s the amazing work at the Peninsula Education Foundation. And you can bring in that double eagle by joining forces with them through a car donation to PEF. Replacing your car is an everyday thing, but it can have extraordinary meaning when you donate a vehicle to Peninsula Education Foundation. At every level—elementary, middle school and high school—PEF is relied upon to continue granting the youth of our community tremendous opportunities. Early music education is linked to mathematical ability, and the kids on the Peninsula are not missing out! PEF is funding those programs, as well as placing the kids on successful trajectories through elementary STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) education. Fourth graders begin learning engineering concepts through fun, hands-on projects, thanks to this amazing non-profit. Maybe your family’s growing and it’s time to upsize.
