Meals on Wheels San Diego provides daily meals to more than 3,100 seniors throughout the San Diego County. Volunteers delivers meals and conducts safety checks to senior community members. Sometimes, these volunteers are the only human contact that a senior will see all day. Lives are saved nearly every week as a result of acquiring the proper emergency personnel for someone who has fallen, had a stroke, or is simply in need of additional resources.
