Animal Rescue

The mission of Project Chimps is to provide lifelong exemplary care to chimpanzees retired from research – because it’s their time to live. Project Chimps provides care to former research chimpanzees at its 230+ acre forested sanctuary in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Your donation can help get them from the lab to their forever home where they can forage, climb, learn, and play, and just be chimps. $10 a day provides each chimpanzee with nutritious foods and enrichment activities. With nearly 100 chimps now and 100 more in the future, those daily expenses add up. Your vehicle donation of any type will provide support to help enrich their health and well-being and help us welcome more chimps to their new home. Thank you for thinking of the chimps!
